Home Visits

In general, most patients can safely attend, or be brought to the surgery without causing any personal harm, no matter what the medical problem. Our practice is easily accessible by both car (multiple parking available) or public transport (we are located next to Wath bus station). Therefore Home Visits are reserved for those genuinely unable to attend the surgery for medical reasons.

If you have any doubt about the advisability of attending the surgery then please discuss the situation with the Doctor on call or one of the Nurses first.

Please telephone requests for home visits before 10:30 a.m. Monday to Friday, as home visits take place between morning and afternoon surgeries. You will be asked to give details of the patient’s symptoms to help us determine the urgency of the problem. Please also give a contact telephone number if possible.
